ETHAN
I’m a Senior at Utah State University studying Outdoor Product Design, honing my craft in technical outerwear and streetwear x performance. I grew up in South Lake Tahoe, where skiing, backpacking, and life outside shaped my values and how I see the world. That "granola kid” identity still drives my work.
I design expressive pieces that complement an athlete’s performance and lifestyle — clean, smart, and playful. I’m drawn to oversized details and odd proportions: giant pockets, exaggerated shapes, and silhouettes that feel bold but intentional. At the same time, I respect quiet, timeless design. What I enjoy most is finding the balance between those two worlds — and pushing it in ways the outdoor industry hasn’t fully explored. I want clothing to feel at home both on the mountain and in daily life.
I’m also realistic about what it means to make more product in a world that doesn’t need more stuff. That’s why I care about longevity and repairability. If a piece gets made, it should last, stay in use, and age with character.
